With over 20 years of experience in water resources, Lori Kappen is responsible for water quality, regulatory compliance, and economic assessments for drinking water treatment plants across the U.S.

Kappen is on the leading edge of issues surrounding emerging contaminants and specializes in providing guidance on per- and poly-fluoridated alkyl substances (PFAS) regulation, testing, and treatment to water suppliers throughout the country. She is particularly adept at conducting bench- and pilot-scale testing, evaluating process treatment options, and developing process and facility design criteria for drinking water treatment plants.
