When water infrastructure owners need an engineer who thinks like an owner and understands their challenges, they turn to Chris Olson. Chris spent 13 years with New Jersey American Water, and he most recently managed a staff of 17 planning and project delivery engineers and a $400 million capital program, including some 200 active projects. Project types within his purview included conventional treatment, advanced oxidation, ozone, PFAS removal, iron and manganese removal, aquifer storage and recovery, water main and sewer collection system replacements, and tank construction and rehabilitation, to name a few. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Rutgers University. Active in the New Jersey Section of the American Water Works Association, he chairs the Recognition & Publications Committee and is a member of the Technical Program Committee.
