Vice President & Program Manager, Federal Buildings Market Leader
- I am the SAME National Architectural Practice Community of Interest chair for 2022-2024.
- I’m a sports mom, which means running my kids to practice and games is my second job.
- I’m a proud recipient of the SAME NoVA Post 2021/2022 Regional Vice President Medal.
- I’m excited to learn more about installations of the future at the Architectural Practice Committee of Interest meeting on Tuesday at JETC.

Art Barrett, II, PE
Sr. Vice President & Federal Contract Executive
- I’m the 2022-23 chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). I have also served on the ACEC Federal Agencies Procurement Advocacy committee.
- My favorite place is on or in the water — frozen or liquid! I like to boat, ski, snorkel, and scuba dive.
- I enjoyed working on the Jefferson Memorial reflecting pool tidal gates replacement for the USACE Baltimore District.

Andrea Ruff, CEI
Vice President & Operations Manager, Vertical Transportation
- Performing elevator inspections takes me to some interesting places. My favorite was the Naval Air Station Pensacola, headquarters of the Blue Angels.
- My hobbies include visiting off-the-wall places, like Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, for Groundhog’s Day, and collecting old vinyl records by artists like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.

Principal Architect & MidAtlantic Manager
- I’m proud of our team’s work on the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Training Support Center project.
- I’m the American Institute of Architects Pennsylvania Architect Licensing Advisor.
- I enjoy traveling to naturally beautiful locations like Yosemite and Alaska.
- I’m an adjunct professor of architecture at Harrisburg Area Community College.

David DiFuccia, AIA, NCARB
Federal Project Manager & Architect
- I’m a new addition to the Gannett Fleming team, and I recently relocated from Utah to Pennsylvania.
- In a previous role, I worked at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant for a year. The plant is working to destroy part of the U.S. chemical weapons stockpile, helping the country meet its Chemical Weapons Convention obligations.
- I’ve been to 10 national parks, and I hope to make it to all 63. Glacier National Park in Montana is my favorite (so far)!

Ted Krull, PE
Sr. Project Engineer, Structures
- I’m proud to play a role in the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit Project, which will bring multimodal transit options to the San Fernando Valley.
- My wife and I kayaked in Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand. The tree-covered hillsides, crystal-clear water, and exposed boulders were breathtaking.
- I enjoy trying recipes above my skill level. I recently made ramen over three days. I tracked down specialty ingredients and roasted and boiled bones for broth. It was tasty!
