CREATING A BETTER FUTURE, TOGETHER
Transportation networks of the future will be more connected and integrated than ever before. Infrastructure that is planned, designed, and built must consider multimodal user experiences and create equitable transportation solutions that deliver safe, efficient, and reliable functionality.
At the North Carolina Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (NCAMPO) Conference, Gannett Fleming brings fresh perspectives and new ideas for tackling the challenges that face North Carolina’s transportation infrastructure. We are proud to support NCAMPO as a conference sponsor.

ATLAS Map: Expediting Project Delivery Using Geospatial Data & Analysis
Thursday, April 27 | 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) ATLAS Search and Screening map tools were developed to leverage geographic information systems (GIS) to identify potential environmental impacts earlier in the project delivery process. In the last four years, the value of these mapping tools has increased as additional layers have been added, and users have articulated new use cases. This presentation will provide an overview of the origins of ATLAS and successes and highlight some of the improvements coming with ATLAS Map, which is set to launch later this year.
Catawba Crossings: A Collaborative Approach to Transportation and Land Use Planning
