Five-Phase Project Approach

1) Assessment

The initial step when effectively managing a contaminated site is understanding the nature and the extent of contamination. Hydrologic studies, soil boring investigations, soil vapor studies, evaluation of remedial options and human health and ecological risk assessments are vital inputs for the design, construction and implementation phases that follow.

2) Remedial Design

Our firm assesses the feasibility and affordability of various remedial strategies through remedial alternatives evaluations, pilot studies, in situ groundwater monitoring analyses and soil remediation.

3) Construction

This phase includes installation of recovery wells and treatment, disposal and monitoring systems; and implementation of in-situ remediation systems.  Shop drawing reviews, construction inspection, scheduling and evaluating contractor change orders and claims are also included.

4) Operation and Maintenance (O&M)

Our firm provides system start-up and shake-down, O&M manual preparation, collection and interpretation of system performance data and on-site O&M. We believe that during this period it is critical to assess monitoring data.  This helps to determine if remedial goals are being met and if adjustments are necessary to ensure maximum performance.

5) Monitoring

Our team provides system design and O&M; recovery system parameters; and contaminant concentration for soil, groundwater and vapor.
