Application of LIFESim Computer Model
LIFESim is a spatially-distributed dynamic simulation modeling system for estimating potential life loss. LIFESim has been created using an underlying development philosophy that stresses including important processes that can affect life loss, while depending on only readily-available data sources and requiring only a reasonable level of effort to implement. It entails the following internal modules:
- Loss of Shelter, including prediction of building performance
- Warning and Evacuation
- Loss of Life.
