Behavior-Based Safety
Gannett Fleming has employed a proprietary behavior-based safety program called Loss Prevention System (LPS) for more than ten years for numerous projects. We have a certified LPS trainer on staff and train our own staff for clients that use the LPS system. LPS focuses on identifying and mitigating hazards in Job Loss Analysis documents and during Loss Prevention Observations with the goal of striving towards incident-free operations.
Safety at Work and at Home
Safety takes a forefront on the firm's strategic action plan, and each year the company designates safety as the theme of one of the firm's employee-focused celebrations. In 2011, employees took part in several activities to promote safety and awareness at work and at home. Events at the corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., included fire extinguisher training, bicycle safety training, sobriety tests with drinking goggles, and training on the appropriate procedures for accident reporting. Offices around the country celebrated with other unique activities to promote employee safety.
