 Bid Evaluations
The evaluation of bids for a project must consider more than just bottom-line costs. Our staff develops comparative costs so that a fair comparison can be made among multiple bid proposals. We also provide input on the technical merits of a proposal, construction sequencing, adequacy of resources and experience and qualifications of construction contractors. Based on a complete understanding of bid proposals, we routinely make recommendations and discuss with our clients the qualifications of received bids.
Document Development
Our firm has developed contract documents on thousands of projects for clients nationwide. We have developed our own Contract Documents during the last 40 years utilizing the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) format for specifications. We have the ability to tailor both technical and legal sections to meet the specific needs of each client.
Construction Cost Estimating
We recognize that our in-house projects are subject to an engineer’s cost analysis for our clients’ benefit during a project’s bid phase. Consequently, we utilize industry standard cost indexes supplemented with our historical cost data to develop detailed and reliable cost estimates.
