Construction Management
Document Maintenance & Project Record Drawings
Our construction management staff maintains orderly files required for each project including:
- Correspondence
- Reports of progress meetings
- Shop drawings and samples
- Reproduction of original contract documents including all addenda
- Change orders
- Field orders
- Additional drawings issued for the contract
- Clarifications and interpretations
- Progress reports
- Record of purchases
- Operation and maintenance manuals
We utilize several computer software packages to provide organized document contract controls including Web-based systems for our project control information system. This software enables tracking of information associated with all aspects of a project, ranging from contact information, change orders, shop drawings and requests-for-information, to correspondence, telephone conversations and cost worksheets. This is a valuable tool for monitoring the progress of a project and for tracking important documents.
Up-to-date “red-line” drawings are typically maintained by our field personnel. These drawings are updated as work proceeds and reflect the actual condition of the installed work.
