Roads & Bridges magazine ranked the South Street Bridge Reconstruction as #1 and the I-78 & Garden State Parkway Interchange 142 Improvement Project as #2 in its Top 10 Bridges 2011 awards program. This awards program recognizes the best in bridge construction for 2011. Gannett Fleming, a global infrastructure firm, served as the lead designer and engineer-of-record on both of these projects. The twin bridges on Interstate 4 (I-4) that span Reedy Creek in Osceola County, Fla., were recognized with a Grand Award in the structural systems category by the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) as part of its 2012 Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. The FICE competition recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value, and ingenuity. More...
