Spring Cleaning for South Plainfield
On April 22, 2010, employees in the South Plainfield, N.J., office, celebrated Earth Day by participating in a spring cleaning for the areas of Route 18-2F and Boyd Park. Route 18-2F, is an award-winning highway project that was designed by Gannett Fleming employees in the office. This project was designed to maintain and develop the surrounding community while also reducing traffic congestion in New Brunswick, N.J., area. Volunteers for this event helped clean the promenade along Commercial Avenue, pulled weeds, planted flowers, and spread mulch. Following the volunteer work, employees enjoyed a picnic luncheon at Boyd Park.
