Harrisburg Employees Race to Support the American Lung Association
On June 9, employees from the Harrisburg, Pa., office participated in the 2010 5k Pasta Run. More than 35 employees participated in the event which benefited the American Lung Association in Pennsylvania. The course, a 5k loop along the Susquehanna River, began and ended at City Island in Harrisburg. Despite rainy weather, the event attracted more than 350 participants.
All proceeds raised from the event help support the American Lung Association’s programs in Central Pennsylvania. For more than 100 years, the American Lung Association has offered hope to people living with tuberculosis, asthma, emphysema, lung cancer, and other lung diseases. The 5k Pasta Run is just one of the many events held to raise money for various community programs and research.
