Project Forward Leap
Nick Siegl, Bill Stout, David Weiss, Andrew Wiist, and Kate Zura volunteered time to share their career experience with 7th grade students enrolled in the Project Forward Leap Program at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. The program is a five-week, residential program for disadvantaged students from school districts in central Pennsylvania including; Carlisle, Harrisburg, Steelton-Highspire, and Susquenita. It features highly-focused academics and supplemental experiences such as the Ganett Fleming career presentation. The Gannett Fleming panel gave an overview of engineering and discussed the education requirements, job variety in different disciplines, and day-to-day work life.
