Palmer Pitches in on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
 Based in the Pittsburgh, Pa., office, Shaun Palmer, a geotechnical designer in the Geotechnical Group, recently participated in the award-winning reality television series, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Every week, this show features the construction of a home which would normally take months to accomplish, in only five short days. Extreme Makeover came to the Pittsburgh area to help one troubled family and Shaun was asked to assist on the project by the developer, Montgomery and Rust, Inc. Shaun took an active role as a volunteer, helped with site safety and coordination efforts, and participated in the home's construction. The show aired on Jan. 4.
