Baltimore Office Participates in Day with an Engineer
As part of Engineers Week, the Baltimore, Md., office participated in the "Day with an Engineer" event on Feb. 18. The premise is simple; engineers are shadowed by high school students who learn what engineers do on a daily basis. The goal is to encourage high school students to become the next generation of engineers. The event was sponsored by the Baltimore Post of the Society of American Military Engineers. Students participated from four local high schools; they were enthusiastic about studying engineering but were unsure of the type of engineering that best suited them.
