Locust Valley Office Collects Toys for Matthew's Toy Drive
Gannett Fleming’s Locust Valley, N.Y., office, collected toys this holiday season for the Matthew Fetzer Toy Drive. Matthew’s Toy Drive is an organization that was formed in 2005 by Bill and Ann Fetzer of Bayville, N.Y., after their son Matthew passed away after a hard fought battle with leukemia at the age of 10.
The Fetzers operate Matthew’s Toy Drive year round and personally distribute toys to hospitals that treat children with cancer. Local Long Island hospitals, such as Schneider’s Children’s Hospital, Winthrop Hospital, and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital are just a few of the locations where the toys are distributed.
