Hike for Discovery
GeoDecisions’ business development manager Andy Freckmann trained for four months to hike the Grand Canyon with Hike for Discovery and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As part of his training, Andy hiked nearly every Saturday in the Washington, D.C., area, as well as in Virginia’s Shenandoah Mountains. The hard work culminated in June with a strenuous hike down into the Grand Canyon. Interestingly, less than one percent of the canyon’s visitors actually go into the canyon.
Along the way, Andy raised nearly $5,700 for the research and cure of blood diseases for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
