Graphic Artist and Daughter Participate in Whitaker Center’s Kite Fest
Camp Hill graphic artist, Lorna Carlson, is constructing a freeform sculpture sponsored by Harristown Development Corporation. Titled “Night Flight,” the sculpture stands approximately nine feet and is constructed of metal and Plexiglas. Lorna will also be exhibiting her photography/artwork at the Midtown Cinema in Harrisburg, Pa., during the month of July.
Lorna’s daughter, Hannah, designed and painted a Pole type kite titled “Friends” that was sponsored by KHB Insurance in Hershey for Kite Fest. Kite Fest is a summer-long outdoor and indoor public art exhibition that celebrates the talents of local artists and involves the entire community. More information about the event is available at www.whitakercenter.org.
