This office supports the City of Memphis Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Year 3 Coordinated Traffic Signal Project. Through this project, the City will interconnect and coordinate 84 traffic signals along 16 key city corridors. This office will also allow Gannett Fleming to better support the state’s infrastructure initiatives.
In addition to the CMAQ Year 3 Coordinated Traffic Signal Project, Gannett Fleming has played a lead role on two other major infrastructure projects in the state of Tennessee. It recently completed the multi-year Chattanooga Smartway Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Integration Project, as well as is currently providing LOCATE/IM services on a statewide basis for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. LOCATE/IM is a hosted web-based automatic vehicle location and computer-aided dispatch system developed specifically for incident management.
