Butts Receives Two AU Speaker Awards
Jan. 5, 2012
(Raleigh, N.C.) David Butts received two AU Speaker Awards following his presentations at Autodesk® University (AU), an annual three-day event focused on the power of Autodesk technology. Autodesk is a world leader in 3-D design, engineering, and entertainment software. Butts ran a hands-on lab titled “Autodesk Revit® MEP: Systems? Filters? Layouts? I Need Help!” and delivered a lecture called “Supercharge Your Autodesk Revit MEP 2012.” Based on attendee survey scores completed after the classes, Butts received an AU Speaker Award for each class.
The AU management team recognized Butts’s contribution to the success of AU, noting, “From the scores you received, it’s obvious that your classes were interesting, useful, and well-presented. It’s classes like yours that keep people coming back to AU year after year. We truly appreciate your efforts to make AU the best conference of its kind.”
Butts is an Autodesk Architectural Desktop Certified Expert, AutoCAD/Revit MEP Implementation Certified Expert, and a Revit Architecture 2011 Certified Professional. He has taught at AU for eight years and was a member of the Autodesk Authorized Training Center Advisory Board for two years.
