Kaden Honored with Outstanding Service Award

 (Tampa, Fla.) Marvin N. Kaden was awarded the Allen B. Roberts, Jr. Award for Outstanding Service by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA).
The award is named in honor of Allen B. Roberts, Jr., who worked diligently as the section’s executive director by providing valuable leadership and improving the status of the section. Those who receive the award have provided significant support to programs through outstanding leadership, creativity, and service in the water field. Kaden serves on the board of governors as chair of the operators council, the state awards chair, and as a region IV executive board member.
With more than 31 years of experience, Kaden is a senior water quality specialist for the Water/Wastewater Practice of Gannett Fleming. Based in the firm’s Tampa, Fla., office, he is skilled in utility operations and maintenance management. Kaden is responsible for overseeing compliance to regulatory requirements, developing pilot tests, and providing and performing preliminary and process designs and optimization services that assist in plant start-ups.
A certified water and wastewater professional in Florida, Kaden holds an associate of applied science in business management from Nassau Community College, New York. Active in professional associations, he is a member of the Florida Rural Water Association, Southeast Desalting Association, Florida Water & Pollution Control Operator Association, and the Florida Water Environment Association.
