Loht Appointed Corporate Safety Manager

 (Harrisburg, Pa.) Paula J. Loht, CIH, was named corporate safety manager of Gannett Fleming, Inc. A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) based in the firm’s Harrisburg, Pa., office, Loht previously served as assistant corporate safety manager and also worked as a project manager and environmental scientist for the firm’s Environmental Resources Division. She succeeds Thom Gingrich who retired in May 2011.
As corporate safety manager, Loht coordinates safety related training and record keeping, administers Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance reporting, reviews and authors specialized project safety plans, chairs the firm’s corporate safety committee, and coordinates with the company’s board of directors on all firmwide safety initiatives.
With more than 20 years of experience, Loht holds a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Shippensburg University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Conference Advisory Committee and serves as the director of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, Central Pennsylvania Section.
