Gannett Fleming Names Senior Associates

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, recently named six new senior associates.

Naldo Gonzalez, P.E.Naldo Gonzalez, P.E., serves as vice president and manager of south Florida operations. Gonzalez has more than 18 years of experience and oversees all highway planning and design projects for Gannett Fleming’s south Florida offices, including Miami and West Palm Beach. He also serves as the principal-in-charge for other transportation projects in the areas of highway design and planning, site/civil design, and transit planning. Gonzalez is based in the Miami office. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Tulane University and is a registered professional engineer in Florida.

Michael A. MacAllister, P.E.Michael A. MacAllister, P.E., serves as the construction management and inspection group leader for Gannett Fleming’s Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia operations. With more than 28 years of experience, MacAllister is responsible for contract initialization and administration and oversight of regional construction management/inspection activities and personnel. MacAllister, based in the Pittsburgh, Pa., office, holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Michael T. McNamara, P.E.Michael T. McNamara, P.E., serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Gannett Fleming Transit & Rail Systems, a division of Gannett Fleming specializing in transit and railroad track, signal, communication, and electric traction design, and is based in the firm’s Valley Forge, Pa., office. McNamara has more than 35 years of experience, as well as an extensive background in the design, construction, and maintenance of railroads and transit systems. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a master of science in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ara G. Mouradian, P.E.Ara G. Mouradian, P.E., serves as department manager for the Geotechnical Group in the Valley Forge office. With more than 24 years of experience, Mouradian is responsible for the management and technical review of geotechnical activities. Mouradian holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the American University of Beirut, a master of science in geotechnical engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and has completed doctorate-level courses at McGill University.

Scott N. Rhine, P.E., DBIAScott N. Rhine, P.E., DBIA, serves as the transportation director and a project manager in the firm’s Clearfield, Pa., office, as well as a Design-Build Leader with the firm’s Design-Build Practice Leadership Team (PLT). Rhine has more than 15 years of experience, and he is responsible for the effort and coordination of projects involving contractors, state departments of transportation, turnpike commissions, and a variety of other transportation clients. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown.

David W. Weiss, Jr., P.E.David W. Weiss, Jr., P.E., is a senior project manager located in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa. With more than 17 years of experience, Weiss serves in the Construction Management division and provides construction management services for all aspects of project development: bid-phase services, award of contracts, construction-phase services, including periodic field inspections, and project close-out. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Lehigh University.
