Mullins Named President of ITS Pennsylvania

Keith R. Mullins, P.E.(Philadelphia, Pa.) Keith R. Mullins, P.E., a senior project manager with GeoDecisions, a division of Gannett Fleming, has been named president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Intelligent Transportation Society (ITS) of America. As an official state chapter of ITS of America, ITS Pennsylvania is a society of professionals dedicated to the development and deployment of intelligent transportation systems.

Formed in 1995, ITS Pennsylvania is a volunteer society of more than 50 organizations, consisting of public transportation agencies, private companies, and academic institutions and research centers. As the president of ITS Pennsylvania, Mullins will work to achieve its mission of creating a more economical, efficient, and environmentally sound transportation network through the use of ITS. Mullins previously served as secretary of ITS Pennsylvania from 2008-2009.

GeoDecisions operates as a division of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm's Philadelphia, Pa., office, Mullins is responsible for coordinating ITS planning, design, and construction support services for domestic clients. He manages all aspects of ITS project delivery.

Mullins has more than 10 years experience in the ITS field and is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Delaware and a master of science in Ocean Technology and Commerce from the Webb Institute in Glen Cove, N.Y.
