IABC Capital Awards Program Honors Gannett Fleming Employee Communications Campaign

 (Harrisburg, Pa.) The International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) Harrisburg, Pa., chapter recently honored Gannett Fleming as part of its 24th Annual Capital Awards program. An international planning, design, and construction management firm, Gannett Fleming received a Gold Award in the Communication Management Division for Employee Communications for its workplace safety campaign.
The workplace safety campaign, which highlights real safety incidents that have occurred at Gannett Fleming offices, is produced by Gannett Fleming’s Corporate Communications & Marketing Section, in coordination with the firm’s Corporate Safety Group and Art Department. The campaign is an integral part of the goals for employee safety that are part of Gannett Fleming's strategic action plan.
The IABC Capital Awards program recognizes communications professionals whose planning and execution of a communications campaign have significantly succeeded in furthering their organization’s goals, whether that be increasing revenue, saving costs, engaging employees, or otherwise contributing to its success. The Gold Award is the competition’s highest award earned for communications excellence. The IABC Harrisburg Chapter is one of more than 100 chapters of IABC, an organization of more than 13,000 business communicators and public relations professionals worldwide.
