Gannett Fleming Awards Scholarships

 Neeraj Salhotra  Jessica Lewis (Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, recently awarded scholarships to family members of two employees.
Neeraj Salhotra, son of Atul Salhotra from the RAM Group of Gannett Fleming based in Houston, Texas, and Jessica Lewis, daughter of Paul Lewis based in the corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., were selected as winners of the 2010 Gannett Fleming Scholarship Program. Each student will receive $1,000 toward his/her education.
Neeraj is student at Rice University in Houston, Texas, majoring in economics and classical studies with a minor in business. Jessica, a 2010 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School in Mechanicsburg, Pa., will attend the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa., where she plans to study pre-pharmacy.
The Gannett Fleming Scholarship was created to recognize the children and grandchildren of the firm’s employees who show exceptional leadership and character. The winners were chosen by a panel of non-partisan judges based on their answers to two essay questions, their most recent school transcripts, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation.
