Badaczewski Named ICE Manager

James J. Badaczewski, P.E.(Harrisburg, Pa.) James J. Badaczewski, P.E., was recently named manager of Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical (ICE) Technologies, a group within the Facilities Division of Gannett Fleming.

ICE Technologies provides technical and managerial support for the firm’s Transportation Division and Environmental Resources Division, as well as a broad range of technical services for private clients.

Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Badaczewski directs the work of more than 20 electrical, control system, and network engineers, in addition to distribution designers and programmers. He leads strategic planning and business development efforts to expand ICE’s services.

Badaczewski previously served as a chief electrical engineer, overseeing technical drawings, reviewing project designs, and approving proposals and project execution plans. With more than 20 years of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, he is skilled in design, computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) drawings, and the management of various project programs, including environmental, educational, justice, and health care facilities, in addition to historical restoration.            

Badaczewski holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering technology from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a professional engineer in six states and a member of the Association for Facilities Engineering, the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Building Industry Consulting Services International.
