(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, will host an American Institute of Architects (AIA) continuing education event on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Travelodge Conference Center in Lancaster, Pa. “Piecing it all Together” will feature session topics that are shaping and transforming the facilities industry.
The conference topics include elevator and escalator design and safety issues; energy efficient systems and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®); focused project phase commissioning; and electronic safety and security design.
Conference attendees have the option of selecting two session topics to attend; each session offers AIA continuing education credits. Attendees can earn up to four learning units (LUs), four professional development hours (PDHs), and four health, safety, and welfare hours (HSWs) at the half-day event.
“Piecing it all Together” will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The first sessions will be presented from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. The second sessions will be held from 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., immediately followed by lunch. The registration fee for the conference is $50, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and certificates of LU, PDH, and HSW credits.
