(Harrisburg, Pa.) The Cumberland Valley Associated Builders and Contractors
(ABC) selected the Norland Avenue Extension in Chambersburg, Pa., for its 2006 Excellence in Construction Award. This award recognized the work of the prime contractor, Valley Quarries, Inc., in the Public Works Projects under $1 million category.
Working closely with Valley Quarries, Gannett Fleming was hired by the Borough of Chambersburg to perform preliminary engineering, environmental, and final design services for an extension of a four-lane borough street.
The Norland Avenue Extension project will help the borough develop a large tract of land in Chambersburg.
