(Baltimore, Md.) Kenneth T. Guttman, P.E., was recently appointed the manager of the Hazardous/Industrial Waste and Natural Resources Group in the Baltimore, Md., office of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm.
In this position, Guttman is responsible for the overall performance and marketing efforts of the diverse Hazardous/Industrial Waste and Natural Resources Group, comprised of geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists serving both private and public clients in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
With more than eight years of experience, Guttman has an extensive background in the investigation and remediation of both petroleum hydrocarbon and hazardous waste sites. As a member of the firm’s Site Remediation Practice Leadership Team, Guttman has taken the lead in developing and facilitating online technical transfer sessions as a tool to share knowledge and best practices throughout the company.
Guttman holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland and is a registered professional engineer in Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the National Groundwater Association.
