GeoDecisions Recognized by MarCom

November 7, 2005

(Camp Hill, Pa.) GeoDecisions, a division of Gannett Fleming specializing in geographic information systems (GIS), recently received two awards in the 2005 MarCom Creative Awards competition. The international communications competition is one of the largest of its kind, recognizing quality, creative, and resourceful marketing/communications projects.

Out of 4,613 entries, GeoDecisions received the following awards:

  • Gold Award in the Writing/Feature Article category for “Crime Stoppers: Web-Based Mapping Makes Safer Neighborhoods”
  • Honorable Mention in the Marketing Campaign category for the IRRIS® Technology Marketing Campaign, including the IRRIS Web site, demo, white paper, literature, and trade show materials.

Winners of the MarCom Creative Awards come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, graphic design shops, and freelancers. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
