Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those whose lives have been
impacted by the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast.
In response, Gannett Fleming has partnered with the United
Way of the Capital Region to provide support for the victims of Hurricane
Katrina. This year’s United Way Campaign will be held firm
wide throughout the month of October.
Employees in every regional office will be given the opportunity
to make contributions by payroll deduction and E-Way, the United
Way’s user-friendly and confidential online giving tool. Contributions
made to the Hurricane Katrina Response Fund will be distributed dollar
for dollar to United Way agencies throughout the affected areas.
The firm’s corporate headquarters has participated in the United
Way Campaign for many years, raising more than $90,000 last year.
The companywide goal for this year’s campaign is $150,000,
going above and beyond regular giving to support hurricane victims.
Gannett Fleming has already donated $20,000 for hurricane relief.
